START APPLYING

Don’t wait to get accepted to a college to apply to scholarships!

The sooner you start applying the more chances of getting money to use towards your schooling!

HOW TO APPLY

Before you apply, make sure you’re eligible.

Scholarships have very specific criteria for who’s eligible to apply. Once you check that you are the right fit for that application you can start writing your personal statement or answering, submitting your responses to the scholarship question. Don’t worry not all scholarships ask for an essay. Some may ask for art work, and more! In some case you can reuse your previous work to fit the scholarship requirement. Pay close attention to the detailed requirements and your custom edits.

RECEIVE YOUR FUNDS

Now that you have accepted and received your scholarship you’ll need to let your school know that you’ve been awarded a scholarship so that the financial aid office can subtract that amount from your cost of attendance (and from certain other aid, such as loans, that you might have been offered). Then, any amount left can be covered by other source.

Scholarships Available

Financial resources are available to you! Finding the right scholarships and grants can be a daunting process but take the time to look and research opportunities for funding your education. Here are just a few that KIPP alum can apply for.
