Coursera Training Program

Program Information

KIPP Forward NorCal and Accenture are delighted to introduce our comprehensive 12-month Training Program, designed to provide students and alumni with a unique opportunity to acquire two distinct certifications, enhancing their prospects for entry-level internships and careers within the esteemed tech industry. Typically, these certifications entail substantial expenses; however, our program offers them to participants free of charge.

Program Expectations

Participants will have the flexibility to pursue these trainings at their own pace, with the recommendation of dedicating a minimum of 10 hours per week to effectively complete both certifications within the 12-month timeframe. Our primary expectation is for participants to achieve not one, but two industry-recognized tech certifications. The first certification should be completed by the middle of January, while the second one must be accomplished before the program’s 12-month deadline. To support their progress, all participants will be assigned dedicated program advisors, and bi-weekly meetings will be conducted for short progress check-ins.

Program Benefits

This program presents a unique opportunity for participants to acquire entry-level skills that will unlock doors to the tech industry. By incorporating two prestigious industry-recognized certifications into their resumes or LinkedIn profiles, participants will undoubtedly distinguish themselves when applying for internships and entry-level positions within the tech sector.
